Origin Story
Konstellation was born at the intersection of heavy industry and precise design, a brand built because the standard operating procedure for women's workwear was fundamentally broken. I grew up wanting to be a fashion designer, but life geared me in another direction, the exact direction I was supposed to be in to solve this looming problem. After spending years working on-site as a mechanical and electrical engineer alongside male colleagues, a glaring design flaw became impossible to ignore. The industry was completely blind to the women keeping it running. For decades, the default response to women in the trades has been to "shrink it and pink it," leaving us to work in downsized men’s gear that is baggy in the wrong places, restrictive where we need mobility, and completely out of touch with our actual proportions. Ill-fitting gear isn't just an inconvenience; it is a functional safety hazard on a job site. Every woman swinging a hammer, wiring a circuit, or managing a crew deserves equipment engineered specifically for her anatomy and the rigorous demands of her trade.
Our mission is to provide women in the trades with high-performance workwear that fuses unyielding durability with functional, precise design, empowering them to command authority and execute their work with absolute confidence.
I decided to stop fighting the gear and start rebuilding it. Drawing from my experience in both the trades and design, I set out to create a line of workwear that completely eliminates the compromise between rugged durability and a sharp, intentional aesthetic. We don't do afterthought adjustments or surface-level styling. Instead, we use accurate anthropometric data to ensure every piece fits the female form correctly while meeting strict industry safety standards. Konstellation is more than an apparel brand; it is a movement to show the next generation of girls that the trades are a space where they can break boundaries, defy stereotypes, and thrive without changing who they are. We are here to prove that you can be completely tough and uncompromisingly yourself, because on the job site, you shouldn't have to choose.
