Introducing the first look at our CAT2-rated hoodie, designed from scratch to meet the safety standards of the toughest job sites while giving tradeswomen the fit, function, and respect they deserve.
What Is CAT2, and Why It Matters
Category 2 (CAT2) is a critical safety rating for tradeswomen working in environments where arc flash or thermal hazards are a real risk. For more information, check out our Understanding CAT Ratings in Workwear blog.
Our hoodie meets:
NFPA 70E
ASTM F1506
That means it's built to protect you, not just keep you warm.
CAT2 = Arc rating of at least 8 cal/cm²
It’s real protection for real tradeswomen.
Why This Hoodie Is Different
Let’s be real, most flame-resistant hoodies on the market weren’t made with women in mind. They’re usually oversized, uncomfortable, and don’t hold up to the realities of your day-to-day on site.
That’s exactly why we’re doing it differently.
The current CAT2 hoodie sample is just the starting point, and we’re already planning key upgrades based on what tradeswomen have told us they actually need.
Here’s what we’re working on incorporating into the final version:
Tailored Fit for Tradeswomen – No more baggy, boxy silhouettes. We're shaping the fit for real women who move, lift, and lead on site.
Midweight, Durable Fabric – Flame-resistant, soft on the inside, tough on the job. We’re balancing comfort and compliance.
Functional Design Additions – Including a helmet-friendly hood, deeper pockets that actually fit your gear, and thumbholes to keep sleeves in place when you're working overhead.
Konstellation Embroidery – Because this is more than a hoodie, it’s a statement.
These changes aren’t optional, they’re necessary. And they’re coming.
Because the women building our world deserve workwear that was built for them from day one.
Why We’re Sampling First
We’re not rushing into mass production, because we know how important it is to get this right.
This CAT2 hoodie is currently in the testing phase. What we're looking for:
How does it move with you?
Is the hood helmet-compatible enough?
Do the cuffs stay put when you're working overhead?

This sample is the first step toward a full flame-resistant workwear line for tradeswomen.
