As a tradeswoman, it's easy to get caught up in the daily grind, but sometimes the best way to recharge is by stepping away and treating yourself to a solo adventure. In my recent solo trip to Greenville, South Carolina, I explored a book warehouse, enjoyed a solo date at a French bistro, wandered through Falls Park, and even visited the Greenville Zoo, where a giraffe put on a show and a chimpanzee gave me a good laugh. It was a much-needed reminder that self-care is just as important as the hard work we put in every day.
